Bev is a Helena native with 23 years in nursing. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse for 12 years, most of those at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena. Bev graduated in 1985 with an Associates in Nursing, and a Bachelor's in 1992, and a Masters from MSU Bozeman in 1996.

She is certified by American Nurses Association and as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a 15-year member of the American Nurses Association and the Montana Nurses Association.

Bev is married with a grown daughter and one grandson. Her hobbies include horseback riding and quilting.
